About Us
SMII IS A COMPLEX LEARNING ORGANIZATION THAT DEVELOPS, PROMOTES, PROVIDES AND ENSURES BASIC EDUCATION RESPONSIVE TO THE INTERNAL, EXTERNAL AND EMERGING LEARNING NEEDS.
We provide a school system:
• Where teachers and principals achieve the desired learning outcome because they are empowered, competent and accountable;
• Where Administrators exercise visionary leadership responsive to emerging learning needs of the nation; ensure adequate resources; promote appropriate technology; create and sustain a conductive climate to enhance learning ;
and we affirm the right of every Filipino child especially the less advantaged to Benefit from such a system where the family, the community and other institutions actively support our efforts.
OUR MISSION
SMII is an organization committed to creating a culture of excellence in public service. Believing that the most important resource of our country is its people, we make the task of educating the Filipino child our singular mission. We assist the Filipino child to discover his/her full potential in a value-driven teaching-learning environment and thereby, enable him/her to create his/her own destiny in the global community. We prepare him/her to become a responsible citizen and an enlightened leader who loves his/her country and is proud to be a Filipino.
OUR VALUES
The SMII shall be involved in the advancement of new knowledge, undertake research and extend relevant community services that contributes to an improved quality of human life and living. To provide quality basic education that is equitably accessible to all and lay the foundation for life-long learning and service for the common good. Its primary concern is the integrated formation of the students toward maturity, responsible citizenship, professional competency, and an involvement in the development of the community and people, especially the poor. This mission is pursued in the Philippine context by an institutional Muslim presence that aligns its efforts in the development of the Filipino nation, society and people.
OUR APPROACH
Within the context of its mission statement, SMII seeks to assist the members of its institutional community, especially the students, to become:

Equipped for gainful employment in the world of work, creative, visionary, competent, and self-actualized.
Socially responsible, consistently upholding the ethical prescription of his profession.
• A Responsible Citizen
• A Person involved in the Development of People especially the poor.
• Involves in the community service.
• Willing, able and ready to share time, talent and treasure to the more abandoned poor.
THESE OBJECTIVES SHALL BE ATTAINED THROUGH COLLABORATIVE AND CO-RESPONSIBLE EFFORT
ADMINISTRATORS
• Coordinate institutional programs towards the attainment of the SMII vision-mission and objectives.
• Facilitate the full and realistic development of all members of the SMII community, especially the students.
• Engaged in national, community and people development through innovative programs that broaden the access to educational opportunities, design study program relevance, and direct financing schemes and institutional resources toward this end.
FACULTY
• Who know and understand the physiological, and psychological characteristic and the moral consciousness of the student in different learning levels in which they facilitate their personal and group formation.
• Alive in their commitment of service to the students through a life style and a teaching ministry that integrate Muslim values, academic excellence, professional competency, social responsibility, local culture and the development of people especially the poor.
STAFF
• Who collaborate meaningfully in the attainment of the SMII Mission/Vision and Objectives through Muslim life style and a responsible performance of their functions and services.
STUDENTS
• Who grow continuously in the knowledge and understanding of their God-given capabilities, potentials and unique individuality for continued personal and social development.
• Strive to formulate life values and aspirations.
• Able to evaluate critically the choice and use of secular goods in the face of materialism, pragmatism and technology.
